Its been awhile since I’ve shared any links. Not that I haven’t been reading or browsing… sometimes I start scrapbooking on Sunday morning before everyone else wakes up and I forget to share with you! So here are some of the things I’ve read over the last little while that I bookmarked to share.
Are we doing enough? Our Experiment – a question homeschool mums always ask – and I’d recommend everyone does this experiement at least once a year, if not twice.
No Apologizing – an interview with U2’s Bono – I love finding the message of grace in the unlikeliest of places.
The Other Side of Modesty – an article from Brett Harris about modesty for men. This article was the basis of one of our Sunday morning discussions.
Wisdom – What we Did – Ainsley from It’s the Little Things shared the things she did to teach Wisdom to her boys.
Are you Enough – Who do you look to for confirmation?
and my last blog post to share is from my daughter Jessica as she tussles with the idea of Productivity: What is True Productivity
And a bit about me:
A recipe I really want to try: 2 ingredient pancakes (gluten free)
A few weeks ago we had friends over to cook us a meal in the camp oven. They cooked a stew and a curry, jacket potatoes, honeyed carrots and herb damper. Delish!
and a photo from my phone – something Naomi drew/created for the homeschooler’s Ag Show Display. She drew the tap, the water is water colour painted nappy wipes, then torn into pieces and glued into a plastic cup which was cut in half to sit flat on the poster.
At the Agricultural Show they have an Under 18’s group display. The homeschoolers have particpated (and won) every year. The theme for the Show was ‘water’ so we went with that idea for our display. Each family did a poster and a few families got together so the kids could build the fish-ladder which was on display with live fish.
