31 days of Heart Conversations – topics and ideas, principles and truths that I want to shape my children’s hearts.
Discussions with my Children – intro to series
Well, this ends 31 days of Heart Conversations. I hope you have been challenged to think about the things you are talking to your kids about. For me, I am going to create these 31 key thoughts into a photo-book so that my children can always be reminded of the things that are important to their parents. Or maybe better yet, Peter and I can always be reminded to continue talking to our kids about these things. Heart conversations aren’t the type of thing you just say once to your kids – you need to say it over and over again.
Do your children know what is important to you? Do you tell them, not just once, but is it a part of your family identity, of who you are?
I encourage you to think about that. What is important for your children to understand, believe and build their life upon? You may think that your words are not much, but to your child your words are what they want to hear – they are important to your child.
