Today was supposed to be the final day of filing the kids Egypt Project but things took longer than expected and camera batteries didn’t last as long as expected! So they will have one more day next week.
I spent my kid-free day doing women’s stuff. I dropped in on the Salvation Army’s Drop in for a Cuppa which is an open invitation on Friday mornings. I get there once or twice a month. It is a good opportunity to meet a few ladies from the community – ladies whom don’t usually cross my path.
I then did the grocery shopping. I was so thankful Pete was home to help me unload it all. The kids usually do all the unloading the groceries – don’t think I’ve done it for over 4 years!!
A parcel of scrapbooking goodies had arrived so I cleaned up my scrapbooking desk and got myself all inspired for tomorrow.
Today is actually our wedding anniversary so we had a family dinner, where the cook showed a bit more effort! After dessert we watched our wedding video. That was fun!
