If you read my newsletter then you will be a little aware of what has been going on in our family life lately. Nothing drastic, just busy. After having our foster child full time in October, I have been weary and haven’t blogged very much at all. But before that we had Jess going to Uganda, Josh and Daniel going to Darwin for Taekwondo championships, Nomi also going to Darwin for netball championships, Peter going to Nepal for some hands on, on location training with Foot and Mouth Disease. We’ve been camping, Naomi was involved in another drama, I took a Pilates class (participated) and helped out with an Alpha course. We have kept up with our study routine, in fact, I feel we have just hit a really good rhythm, which is a bit of a shame actually cause it is nearly holiday time and the kids want to stop and I want them to keep going and make the most of it!!
Last week though we took a week off and drove down to Derby, a town about 11 hours driving away, to visit with some friends. Peter was able to manage his work schedule to fit in a week off as well, which was great. Josh didn’t come home with us but rather headed over to the east coast, for a week residential with Compass. He had an adventure on the way with detained flights, cancelled flights, missed flights, and many interesting people along the way!
Here are some of our family photos from the last little while…
