People used to keep their photos stacked away in shoeboxes and in drawers, these days they are locked away on hard drives and memory sticks. But in those family photos lays a wealth of records for your homeschool journey. I’ve recently been scrapbooking our 2013 photos, trying to stay up to date with our current photos (a goal I have never achieved in all the years I’ve been scrapbooking!) and as I flip through the many files of photos I start to realise how full our year has been. I start to see activities and skills that are beyond the books, beyond the lesson plans and yet very much a part of my children’s learning experiences for 2013. So as the Australian school year comes to a close can I encourage you to review your photos – and be encouraged with the things that your family life brings to your children’s education.
