I haven’t shared links for a while. Early Sunday mornings I’ve been scrapbooking, but this morning I reviewed some of the things I’ve been reading and thought I’d share bits and pieces with you.
Next month we have a little person coming to live with us for a month (respite foster care). So life will look a little different and I’ve been reminding myself of the things we used to do… way back when. What season of life are you in? We need to recognise it and acknowledge the limitations and opportunities that come with the season we are in – knowing that it too will pass and soon enough we’ll be in another season, with different limitations and different opportunities. I appreciated this article on the Distractible Season.
Honouring the Highschooler – this is a great reminder for us who have teenagers in our home to keep our relationships in perspective, but also a great article for those with younger children to create a correct mindset for the years ahead of you – years that are often portrayed with anxiety and fear – but need not be.
