I haven’t shared links for a while.  Early Sunday mornings I’ve been scrapbooking, but this morning I reviewed some of the things I’ve been reading and thought I’d share bits and pieces with you.

Next month we have a little person coming to live with us for a month (respite foster care).  So life will look a little different and I’ve been reminding myself of the things we used to do… way back when.  I’ve been reading and re-reading Angela’s blog and have found her focus activities particularly helpful.  Ang at Home

I think I’ve linked to this chart before – here’s a helpful one for our husbands!  But maybe it could help us be a little more specific and honest in our communication so that our hubbies wouldn’t need a chart to translate!  Homeschool Moms Universal Translator

What season of life are you in?  We need to recognise it and acknowledge the limitations and opportunities that come with the season we are in – knowing that it too will pass and soon enough we’ll be in another season, with different limitations and different opportunities.  I appreciated this article on the Distractible Season.

Honouring the Highschooler – this is a great reminder for us who have teenagers in our home to keep our relationships in perspective, but also a great article for those with younger children to create a correct mindset for the years ahead of you – years that are often portrayed with anxiety and fear – but need not be.

Over breakfast last Sunday we talked about selfies on Facebook – from these two posts:  FYI (If you’re a teenage girl) and Too Young to be Hot.

This week I want to ask the question:  How do we know the Bible is true?  And I’ll be referring to this article from Answers in Genesis

Be Intentional

Every week I'll email an encouragement to stay intentional and relational in all your family life.  But for now, download your set of reminder posters - posters which I've used over the years to remind me to keep my eyes and heart on what is important.
