Once again, here are some links to the things I’ve been reading online.
When academics become a distraction – it is very tricky to find the balance – our kids need to learn their academics, but the heart issues are so much more important.
I create a similar form when planning our homeschool – but by using Relationships, Responsibilities, Personal Growth (Intrapersonal), Talents, Acadmics – which I then divide as this mum has. Maybe you will find this chart helpful.
Love this idea: Reading Campout – though I think my kids are a bit too big for sheet-tents, but maybe we could cancel a day and just read together…maybe
A great list of educational infographics: ideas to increase participation, things to do with students who are not paying attention, ideas to inspire creativity, a check list – did they learn anything, ideas to present stimulating ideas, how to check previous knowledge, different ways to get the kids to feedback what they’ve learnt, ideas to help you guide and facilitate learning. Lots to think about!
