I don’t have an iPad yet so I just bookmarked this one – Top iPad apps for Teachers I particularly liked it because it identified apps for year 9 students along with ones for primary school
I have let my kids handwriting slip as we focus more on using technology but maybe we need to get back to daily copywork and keep that handwriting happening as it apparently boosts the brain.
This Family Matters blog post outlines some questions which we’ll use as our Sunday morning breakfast discussion: A former Victoria’s Secret Model gives up modelling due to her faith. Our discussion won’t focus so much around the ‘Victoria’s Secret’ issues but rather the conflicts between careers and faith, marriage and what we value.
