Once again I’ve tried to keep my online reading to the weekend though this weekend has had very little free time. So often I scan pages and emails – so much information, so little time!! Here are a few links I actually took the time to read and think about.
I love Jimmie’s work with Notebooking. We’ve dropped the bundle a bit of late but I always find her posts very encouraging. Today I dug around her Notebooking for Math links. If you are looking for a ebook on Notebooking – Jimmie’s Notebooking Success is great.
I’m still hankering for a perfect handbag (last week I linked to a handbag I’d like to make – but finding the time to sew a handbag is proving tricky!) This one is so organised!!
So many books to read – I like the sound of this one on Modesty. It sounds like it addresses issues of legalism and grace but also I like the idea of addressing more than just what we wear.
A neat idea to create a sense of gratefulness in our family. Not sure when/how/if we’d do this – but it has made me think about how we can verbalise our thankfulness. Jordan River Remembering
This week I’m going to give my children a photography challenge to take a portrait of two people.
Over breakfast this Sunday I’d like to ask my children if they consider themselves the “future church” and then ask them if they see themselves as the “church of today”. I read of these two perspectives somewhere in my web wanderings this morning – it will be interesting to see their take on these two statements.
